Common questions.
Will this work on a 2-hour continuous mix?
Yes. The engine is specifically built for long-format content. Files up to 5GB are handled without any processing on your machine. Processing time scales with file length - Studio tier users jump the queue.
My mix has a very quiet older track in the middle - will that get fixed?
Yes. The auto-leveler analyses the incoming audio and rides the gain to compensate for level drops between tracks. It does this gradually and transparently, without audible pumping or compression artefacts.
What loudness target does the Streaming / Radio profile use?
-14 LUFS integrated, with a -1 dBFS true-peak ceiling. This matches the normalisation targets used by Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and most major streaming platforms.
Can I upload WAV and get WAV back?
Yes, on any paid plan. Free tier outputs 320 kbps MP3 only.
How long are my files stored?
Input and output files are available for 24 hours after processing, then permanently deleted. We do not archive your audio.
What's the difference between Free and a paid plan?
Free gives you one master a month (two in your first month) with the Streaming / Radio profile as a 320 kbps MP3. Paid plans unlock all four mastering profiles - including Club / Festival - WAV and MP3 downloads, more masters a month, and one-click publishing to SoundCloud and Mixcloud.
Does SetMaster Pro use AI?
No. SetMaster Pro runs digital signal processing - compression, EQ, limiting and saturation - tuned by hand for four playback contexts (streaming, club, podcast and warm analogue). The chain is deterministic: the same input produces the same output every time. No machine learning, no opaque model. Results are predictable and adjustable, which matters when you need consistency across a release schedule.
